When the Green Party asked Tāmaki Makaurau artist Inia Taylor for a piece that could make a bold visual statement about Te Tiriti and the current political atmosphere, he actually reached back to the past. 

“I drew this in 2002 for a European exhibition of indigenous tattoo art, and realised the wairua of this piece is just as relevant and needed – or even more so – in 2024. I’m a big fan of the Greens’ embrace and support of Te Aō Māori so really happy to support the cause with my mahi.”

Available in 2 striking colours Olive Green (khaki) or Kelly Green (bright green); in unisex or silhouette (tailored scooped neck fit). Postage included in the price.

Designed and printed  in Aotearoa using preshrunk, midweight 185gsm 100% combed ring-spun cotton and printed with eco-friendly digital screen print techniques.

These tees are shipped separately to any other items ordered on our online shop. Orders for these tees can be made up to 13 December, 2024 to ensure delivery in time for Christmas.
